Watch out Woodstock, a Dragon is on the way to town.
Woodstock’s The Small Business Centre is welcoming Michelle Romanow, Dragon on CBC’s well-known Dragons’ Den next week for their annual Bridges to Better Business keynote and networking event.
Ramona Gallagher, manager of the Small Business Centre, said they’re thrilled to have Romanow speaking with them this year on the theme of innovation and “being disruptors” in industry.
“We are definitely looking forward to hearing her speak. She will be speaking about innovation, talking about how you need to look at business in a new way and how to aproach how we do business,” Gallagher said.
While aimed at business owners, Gallagher said the event is open to everyone with an interest in business who wants to learn more. The day will feature a networking session, followed by lunch and Romanow’s keynote address.
The event will be held at Craigowan Golf Course on Oct. 30, and Gallagher said they typically have around 150 people attending.
Tickets will be available until Oct. 25 or until they sell out, and there will be no ticket sales at the door. Contact The Small Business Centre at 519-539-2382 ext. 2610 for more information.
