Playground Games have launched a new update for Forza Horizon 4 on Xbox and PC.
Anyone playing the game on either platform should be able to download the patch and get it installed by 10am (UK time) on July 1.
The new update, which brings the game up to version 1.424, adds a brand new feature to the game – as well as the usual suite of bug fixes and tweaks.
The new feature, Photo Mode, tasks players with taking a photo detailed in the festival playlist in order to win prizes.
Playground Games teases that the best photos will be shared in upcoming livestreams, too. You can read the full patch nots below.
Photo Challenges are a brand-new feature added in Series 24! Each season, a new Photo Challenge will be added to the Festival Playlist. To complete them, take a photo following the instructions listed on the Festival Playlist – when you think you’ve got the right shot lined up, enter Photo Mode and take your best picture!
We want to see your best photos for each challenge, so make sure you share them on social media and our forums using the hashtag in the Photo Challenge for your chance to be featured on our upcoming live streams!
Showcase Remix – Motocross Purposes
The age-old question: Dirtbike, or Buggy? Okay, maybe that’s not quite an age-old question, but it’s still a fun one to answer. Show those two-wheelers how to do things the Horizon way in this returning Showcase Remix. Just make sure your Ariel Nomad makes it back in one piece!
Showcase Remix – Contest of Giants
Go toe-to-toe with Horizon’s hovercraft pilot once more! In this new Showcase Remix, you’ll be driving the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 during a spring downpour. Come hill or high water, prove once again that traction is king!
- Fixed an issue with the Monthly Rivals event for series 23 not counting towards Festival Playlist progression
- Added in additional checks to reduce the likelihood of accidentally creating a new save game after cancelling a sync from connected storage.
