The Michigan football team enters the week as another betting favorite.
The Wolverines, who moved up to No. 19 in the AP Top 25, are five-point favorites in their homecoming game against Iowa on Saturday (noon, FOX) at Circa Sports in Las Vegas.
Circa Sports is the sports book at The D and Golden Gate casinos in Las Vegas, both owned and operated by Michigan native (and alum) Derek Stevens. The line was published by VegasInsider.com.
STOCK REPORT: Paye, Bell surge in win over Rutgers
Michigan (3-1, 1-1 Big Ten) is coming off a 52-0 blowout win over Rutgers on Saturday, temporarily quieting the critics after a lopsided loss the week prior at Wisconsin. It was the first time all season the Wolverines were successful in covering the spread.
Meanwhile, Iowa enters the game ranked No. 14 in the country with a 4-0 record after a 48-3 win over Middle Tennessee State. The Hawkeyes won their lone Big Ten game so far, a 30-0 victory over Rutgers on Sept. 7.
Iowa is 3-1 against the spread this season, and just a point away from being 4-0.
Michigan leads the all-time series history against Iowa, 41-15-4, but has lost the last two games, both played in Iowa City. The Wolverines won the last meeting in Ann Arbor, 42-17, in 2012.
