MPD: 2 shot in West Mobile – FOX10 News

Mobile police officers investigate the scene of a shooting on Grelot Road in Mobile on Saturday evening, March 23, 2019.

MOBILE, Ala. — Mobile Police are investigating Saturday evening after two people were shot in West Mobile.

Police say this happened in the 5800 block of Grelot Road.

The victims, who suffered injuries that do not appear to be life threatening, are a male and a female, according to police. They were transported to a local hospital.

At 7:15 p.m., MPD officers were seen searching the contents of a car at that location. A number of police cars and officers were on the scene, and a bullet hole could be seen in the passenger side front window of the car.

The automobile being search was in a driveway leading to a parking lot of a podiatry office, which is on Grelot between University Boulevard and Hillcrest Road.
