Looking for a Windows 10 laptop in a MacBook Air form factor?
Popular phone maker Xiaomi has announced that they will be unveiling their fourth Mi Notebook Air running on Windows 10.
The company released a vague teaser on their Weibo account that shows a weighing scale with 1.07kg written on it alongside a March 26 unveiling date.
The previous Mi Notebook Air came with either a 12.5-inch or 13.3-inch screen and weighs 1.07kg and 1.3kg respectively. Selected models support 4G connectivity so you will be always connected to the internet even if there’s no WiFi.
It also came with a low powered Intel Core processor which requires just 7 watts of power for the 12.5-inch variants.
This allowed Xiaomi to create these thin laptops that did not require fans as the heat produced was insignificant.
The 13.3-inch models came with a slightly more powerful processor requiring 15 watts of power but it was still kept sleek.
The 13.3-inch model measured 309.6mm x 210.9mm x 14.8mm and the 12.5-inch came in at 292mm x 202mm x 12.9mm.
It’s unsure if the weight they teased will be for the 13- or 12-inch variant, or if they will even release different models. All we can do is wait for the unveiling for more information.
